Information Technology staffing
Technical hiring moves quickly, and a bad hire can cost you a sprint. We send you engineers and cloud, data and security people who have been screened on what they can build, not on the keywords in their résumé.
Job boards send you keyword matches. We send you people who can pass a technical screen. Our IT recruiters come from technical backgrounds, so they can tell a résumé that lists a framework from an engineer who has shipped with it.
Roles we place
- Software Engineers (front-end, back-end, full-stack)
- DevOps & Site Reliability Engineers
- Cloud Engineers & Architects
- Data Analysts, Data Engineers & BI Developers
- Cybersecurity Analysts & Security Engineers
- Network & Systems Administrators
- Help Desk & Desktop Support
- IT Project & Program Managers
How we staff Information Technology
Every search starts with a technical intake, and each step after it is meant to screen out people who cannot do the work. This is how a role goes from that first call to a signed offer.
1. Discover
A technical intake with your team. We cover the stack, the architecture, the seniority, and what the hire will be responsible for in their first 90 days.
2. Source
We go to engineers we already know and to people who are not job hunting, as well as active applicants.
3. Screen
Skills checks, a code or system-design conversation, and reference calls. The people you interview can explain and defend their work.
4. Deliver
You get a short list of qualified candidates. We then help with the offer, negotiation and onboarding.
Screening & compliance
Technical roles need technical screening. Depending on the position, that can include:
- Skills checks for the role: coding exercises, system-design discussion, or platform and tool checks
- Verification of certifications where they matter (AWS / Azure / GCP, CompTIA, CISSP / Security+, PMP)
- Employment, education, and professional reference checks
- Background checks and, for regulated or sensitive environments, support for clearance and compliance requirements
- Work-authorization confirmation and, where needed, guidance on sponsorship
Best-fit engagement models
Most IT hiring fits one of these. We will suggest one based on the role and the timeline:
Why Pheenix for Information Technology
Your recruiter understands what you are building, so the screening weeds people out. We work to your sprint schedule, tell you plainly what the market pays, and only send people we would put our name behind.
